MIAMI –  Legal Services of Greater Miami, a nonprofit organization focused on providing civil legal services for the low-income communities, has awarded Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP with its Equal Justice Firm Award. Nelson Mullins lawyers from multiple offices came together at several Legal Services Tenants’ Equal Justice Clinics to provide legal assistance to clients throughout the Miami area.

The firm was recognized for assisting Spanish-speaking clients experiencing housing stability issues. This service was provided at virtual clinics coordinated by Legal Services of Greater Miami and Nelson Mullins.

The valuable team members who helped earn this award are Francisco Armada, Becky Esquenazi, Daniela Ferro, Franco Furmanski, Ana Garcia Bodan, Melissa Gomberg, Megan Kilissanly, Sam Ludington, Victoria Moreno Pabon, Andrea Olsen-Leyden, Kayla Quintana, and Aleksandra Strang.

The pro bono awards celebration took place on Oct. 20, 2022.
