LOS ANGELES – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is pleased to announce that Peter Rho has joined the firm as a partner in its growing Los Angeles office. Rho brings a wealth of experience in corporate, M&A, and entertainment transactions, as well as a robust Korea-related business practice.
“Peter enhances the firm’s transactional and cross-border bench strength while adding valuable entertainment industry insight,” said Keith Ameele, managing partner of Nelson Mullins’ Los Angeles office. “His business acumen and decades of experience as a skilled transactional attorney align perfectly with our strategic goals in Los Angeles and beyond.”
Rho, a Los Angeles native, has over two decades of experience serving as outside general counsel for U.S. and international clients, advising on complex business transactions, cross-border deals, and disputes across multiple industries, including corporate law, M&A, foreign investment, finance, real estate, technology, and entertainment. He has consulting and financial advisory experience across Seoul, New York, and Los Angeles.
“Peter is a huge asset to the strong Korea practice at Nelson Mullins,” said Woojin Shin, leader of the firm’s International and Immigration Team. “He brings a deep knowledge of the global business landscape and a Korea-related book of business that spans practice groups and geographies.”
“I’m excited to be part of Nelson Mullins’ growth, particularly in the Los Angeles market,” said Rho. “Nelson Mullins offers a dynamic platform and fosters a client-first perspective that focuses on closing deals, not just managing risk. I look forward to collaborating with the exceptional talent across the firm and to take our practice to the next level.”
