Nelson Mullins Continues Expansion of National Litigation Practice with Pennsylvania Attorneys

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (October 5, 2022) -- Another experienced team of litigators has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, further expanding the firm’s nationally ranked product liability practice. The all-women team consists of two partners and one of counsel. Tiffany Alexander, Heather Russell Fine, and Elyse Cohen join the firm from Tanenbaum Keale LLP. They are based in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

With the addition of these new attorneys, Nelson Mullins’ overall product liability practice includes more than 160 lawyers that currently serve as national, regional, and local counsel for numerous companies in various industries across the United States. The three new attorneys will focus their practice on pharmaceutical and medical device liability, consumer and mechanical liability, automotive liability, and motor vehicle manufacturers and distributors.

Tiffany Alexander. Alexander practices in the areas of product liability, personal injury, and complex civil litigation on behalf of corporate clients and product manufacturers. She serves as national and trial counsel for a leading automotive manufacturer and handles a variety of product design and negligence matters for a variety of product manufacturers throughout the country. She has successfully tried and litigated numerous catastrophic injury cases in which a wide variety of products were alleged to have been defectively or negligently designed, including automobiles, forklifts, motorcycles, farming equipment, and consumer products.

Heather Russell Fine. Fine concentrates her practice on complex products liability and mass tort defense with a particular focus on representing automotive manufacturers, heavy construction equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and regional product manufacturers on a local, national, and international level. She handles all aspects of complex products liability cases from inception to verdict and appeal. She has successfully defended clients across the country from Maine to Alaska for cases ranging from arbitration-level breach of warranty issues to complex trial matters involving claims of catastrophic personal injury based on allegations of product defect.

Elyse Cohen. Cohen defends individuals, partnerships, corporations, and insurance carriers in civil litigation matters, concentrating her practice on products liability, construction defect, catastrophic personal injury, and motor vehicle accident claims. She has an extensive understanding of the discovery process, significant experience with pretrial and motion practice, and alternative dispute resolution methods.
