ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Atlanta partner Jake Carroll co-authored the 2024 edition of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook, published on May 28, 2024 by ALM. Carroll co-authored the Handbook with T. Bart Gary, who is now retired from the practice of law.
The Handbook offers guidance to common construction law issues, such as regulatory and licensing matters and collecting payment using the mechanic’s lien law or the public works bond laws. The 2024 edition includes analysis of legislative changes, as well as recent cases from state and federal courts in Georgia, that impact the construction industry.
Carroll focuses his practice on the construction, manufacturing, and real estate industries, representing clients in complex business disputes, contract negotiations, and related corporate matters.
