Nelson Mullins Attorneys Represent Aura Fat Projects Acquisition Corp. in $115 Million SPAC Deal

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nelson Mullins Securities Partner Andrew Tucker and Associate Brooke Alexander closed a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) deal with $115 million. The two attorneys represented Aura FAT Projects Acquisition Corp, a Cayman Islands exempted company, which began trading on the NASDAQ under the symbol “AFARU.” The shares and warrants are expected to list under the symbols “AFAR” and “AFARW,” respectively.

Aura FAT will focus on emerging technology companies in Southeast Asia and Australasia that have an acute growth potential in sectors such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, digital ledger, and e-gaming.

Tucker is a corporate and securities advisor to growing companies, particularly in the technology and government contracting sectors. He assists his clients with a broad variety of transactional support, including venture capital and private equity transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and public and private securities offerings.

Alexander assists her clients with many of their legal needs, including transactional work. She serves as one of the firm's team of attorneys who assists in taking private companies public through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC and de-SPAC).
