Acritas has named 11 Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP attorneys as Acritas Stars 2019. Clients have nominated these attorneys as stand-out lawyers during Acritas’ yearly Sharplegal study.

According to its methodology, Acritas collects attorney nominations as part of its Sharplegal survey, an annual rolling phone survey in which its researchers speak to over 2,300 senior in-house counsel globally. Founded in 2016, the survey explores seven main areas: billable hours and compensation benchmarks, qualities star lawyers believe make them stand out to clients, benefits and barriers to collaboration, drivers of satisfaction with current firm, perceived and desired opportunities for progression, perceptions of innovation, and aspirational employer brands. During the survey, researchers ask the respondent to nominate up to three lawyers they have worked with in the past year who they believe stand out and deserve recognition.

Acritas been collecting nominations over the past four years, which has allowed it to build up a database of more than 11,000 Acritas Stars, which can be accessed by all those who take part in the Sharplegal interview to help them find lawyers when working in areas outside of their usual network.
