Nelson Mullins Adds International Tax and Estate Planning Partner in Miami
MIAMI — Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is pleased to announce that Daniel A. Badovinac has joined the firm as a partner in its Miami office, expanding the firm’s capabilities in international tax, estate planning, and private wealth matters. He joins Nelson Mullins from Berger Singerman.
Badovinac advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and multinational entities on complex domestic and cross-border tax and estate planning matters. His practice encompasses income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, including the structuring of trusts, business entities, and investment vehicles for U.S. and non-U.S. clients. He also counsels clients on international restructurings, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, treaty matters, and sophisticated corporate and partnership tax issues.
“Daniel brings significant international tax and private wealth experience that complements the capabilities of our Estate Planning & Trusts team,” said Regina Rabitaille, co-chair of the Private Wealth Services Group. “His experience advising clients on complex cross-border planning and wealth preservation matters will be a valuable resource for our clients, particularly as their personal and business interests increasingly span multiple jurisdictions. We are thrilled to welcome him to Nelson Mullins.”
Badovinac works closely with individuals and families to develop tax-efficient strategies to preserve, manage, and transfer wealth across generations and jurisdictions. His practice combines international tax planning with estate and succession planning to help clients address the legal and tax implications of increasingly global assets, investments, and family structures.
“I am excited to join Nelson Mullins and collaborate with colleagues across the firm to serve clients with complex domestic and international needs,” said Badovinac. “The firm’s broad platform and collaborative approach provide a tremendous opportunity to expand the ways I can support clients as they navigate cross-border tax, estate planning, and wealth preservation matters.”
