BOCA RATON, Fla.—Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassell announced today that K. Michelle Jessell has joined the firm in its Boca Raton office.

Jessell has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, lending, and related transactions. She has represented national home builders as well as multi-family apartment and condominium developers in their financing, acquisition, disposition, development, and construction of the projects. She also has represented major real estate lenders on construction and permanent loan transactions involving office buildings, hotels, single family planned unit developments, residential condominiums, and apartment buildings. Jessell also drafts homeowner’s association documents and handles routine developer issues for such associations.

Jessell has served as co-counsel in portfolio transactions in multiple states. She has worked with a financial services company, where she managed significant real estate and mortgage loan acquisition portfolios.

She earned her JD, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a BA, with high honors, from the University of Florida College of Education.
