COLUMBIA, S.C. — Jim Lehman, the managing partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, was recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential people in the Midlands region by Columbia Business Monthly magazine.
A 1990 graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Law, Lehman has been managing partner of the firm since January 2012. In addition to his responsibilities as the firm’s managing partner, he practices in the areas of business and securities litigation, white collar investigations, and professional liability. In addition to his firm responsibilities, he has also served as the outside general counsel for various private equity portfolio companies.
On top of his work with Nelson Mullins, Lehman also is the chair of the Board of Trustees at Claflin University. Lehman is also a member of the board for the Columbia Urban League, a position he’s held for five years dating back to 2018.
