Lorin Lapidus Appointed Vice Chair of North Carolina State Bar Appellate Practice Committee
Winston-Salem counsel Lorin Lapidus has been appointed vice chair of the Appellate Practice Specialty Committee of the North Carolina State Bar. His term will run through January 2029.
Lapidus is an active member of the state bar and brings extensive appellate experience to his new role. The specialty committees are an integral part of the Bar’s specialization program, providing oversight and guidance for certification in various areas of legal practice.
As vice chair, Lapidus will evaluate applicants for initial certification and recertification, review and update examination modules, grade exams, and recruit new applicants for the specialty program. His leadership highlights a strong commitment to advancing appellate practice and upholding professional standards across North Carolina.
