BOSTON – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP announced today that James W. “Jim” Bartling has joined the firm as a partner in the Boston office. He joins from THL Credit, where he was a director and senior counsel.
Bartling will concentrate his practice on corporate finance transactions. His experience includes representing alternative/private credit providers and borrowers across various debt investments, including in connection with acquisition finance, distressed debt, restructuring, workout and bankruptcy, with a focus on middle market companies. He has experience representing agents, arrangers, lenders and borrowers across a variety of debt products, including senior, unitranche, second-lien, and mezzanine financings.
He earned his JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BS in psychology from the University of Vermont.
