Atlanta Partner Jake Carroll co-authored the 2025 edition of the Georgia Construction Law Handbook, published on May 23, 2025 by ALM. This year marks Carroll’s fifth consecutive edition as co-author of the leading treatise on Georgia construction law.
Carroll collaborated with longtime co-author T. Bart Gary, who is now retired from legal practice. Together, they provide comprehensive and practical guidance on a range of construction-related legal issues, including contractor licensing, regulatory compliance, lien rights, and payment bond claims.
The 2025 edition includes updated analysis of key legislative developments and judicial decisions from both Georgia state and federal courts—insights that reflect the evolving legal landscape and its impact on the construction industry.
Carroll focuses his practice on the construction, manufacturing, and real estate industries, representing clients in complex business disputes, contract negotiations, and related corporate matters. His ongoing work on the Handbook reflects his commitment to both the legal profession and the industries he serves.
