ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Atlanta associate Jake Carroll has been elected Vice Chair and Chair-Elect of the Construction Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. The announcement was made during the Section’s final virtual breakfast meeting of the 2020-2021 year. Carroll will serve in this capacity from June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022.

Carroll has been an active member of the Construction Section since he entered private practice in 2016, serving on the Section’s Board of Directors as a member-at-large, editor of the quarterly newsletter, and most recently, the Section’s treasurer. Carroll focuses his practice in the construction, manufacturing, real estate, and distribution industries, representing clients in business disputes and related corporate matters.

The Construction Section of the Atlanta Bar Association consists of nearly 200 legal professionals involved in the practice of construction law in metropolitan Atlanta. The Section provides monthly breakfast meetings covering a variety of current Construction Law topics, community service events, and networking social events throughout the year. In addition to monthly events, the Section distributes quarterly newsletters to its membership which includes the most recent case law updates in Construction Law.
