IP Analytics Group Patexia Names Nelson Mullins Among Top 40 Most Active IP Litigation Law Firms

Patexia, Inc., an intellectual property company and IP professionals network, has named Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP among the top 40 most active law firms for intellectual property litigation in its ANDA Litigation Intelligence Report. The rankings cover a five-year period from January 2017 through June 2022. The company said it reviewed 1,439 federal district court cases filed pursuant to the Hatch-Waxman Act and evaluated 267 law firms and 1,857 attorneys (including ANDA local counsel) based on activity and performance.

The Nelson Mullins intellectual property litigation team includes seasoned IP litigators who have tried cases to jury verdict or judge ruling, are both registered patent attorneys and “stand-up” courtroom lawyers, and who have chemical, pharmaceutical, software, electrical and mechanical engineering degrees and/or experience. The team also includes experienced advocates at the Federal Circuit and former clerks who served on the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit as well as district court clerks.
