Denver Partner Rachel Sternlieb Named To ABI's 40 Under 40 List

Nelson Mullins partner Rachel Sternlieb was recently named to the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI)'s 40 Under 40 list for the Class of 2025, recognizing individuals with outstanding ability, leadership, and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.

Sternlieb represents businesses, receivers, trustees, and creditors in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases in a variety of industries, including automotive, financial services, oil and gas, oilfield support services, farming, construction, and real estate. She also focuses her practice in the areas of complex commercial and business litigation, in both state and federal courts, as well as administrative forums and arbitration proceedings.

Based in Denver, she has represented corporate and individual clients throughout all stages of litigation, from the inception of a case, to discovery, through entry of judgment and post-judgment collection efforts. She has vast experience litigating in both state and federal courts throughout the country, including in Colorado, Wyoming, Louisiana and Mississippi.

The 40 Under 40 honor is the latest for Sternlieb, who was recognized as a "Rising Star" in Business Litigation by Colorado Super Lawyers in each of the last five years.

The ABI is a multi-disciplinary, nonpartisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. It was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. Their 40 Under 40 list is selected by a group of experienced insolvency professionals, and has recognized over 200 honorees since its inception.
