GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville County Schools recently inducted Greenville partner David Wilkins into its Hall of Fame. Inductees are graduates of Greenville County Schools who have made substantial or significant contributions at the local, regional, national, or international levels in areas such as academia and education, arts, athletics, business, media, public service, philanthropy, medicine, military, or science.
A longtime legislator and former speaker of the S.C. House of Representatives, Wilkins served as ambassador to Canada under George W. Bush and has served as chair of the board of Clemson University.
