COLUMBIA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP has selected Columbia partner Joseph E. Fornadel, III to participate in the United Way of the Midlands’ Blueprint for Leadership class, a professional development course targeting future community leaders. The program prepares diverse groups of individuals for volunteer service in the nonprofit sector.
Fornadel focuses his practice in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, consumer product liability litigation, and FDA compliance. He maintains an active pharmaceutical and medical device product liability defense practice, among other areas, as both national and local counsel.
Blueprint for Leadership’s goal is to help participants develop leadership skills, nonprofit governance expertise, and knowledge of the community. Class topics include nonprofit law, the roles and responsibilities of board members, strategic leadership, best practices in programs, and nonprofit governance.
