Chambers USA 2019 Recognizes Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Baltimore Litigation Practice and Attorneys

BALTIMORE -- Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Baltimore commercial litigation practice and Partners Michael A. Brown and Matthew S. Sturtz have been recognized in the 2019 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for their work.

Chambers identified the practice this year as a “recognized practitioner,” in Litigation: General Commercial in Maryland, noting that “the department receives solid recognition.” Nelson Mullins opened its Baltimore office in February 2018 with several litigation and corporate partners from Miles & Stockbridge PC.

In addition, Brown earned a ranking in Band 3 from Chambers, while Sturtz retained his Band 3 ranking from 2018. Chambers noted that Sturtz “has a good reputation.” It said interviewees described Brown as “phenomenal” and an “unbelievable lawyer,” whose strength and national practice is in product liability.

Chambers’ ranking tables are compiled through its assessment of a firm’s work and opinions from external market sources, with an emphasis on client feedback, according to the organization.
