BOSTON – Jane Remillard, an intellectual property partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Boston office, has been named the Patent Strategy Attorney of the Year in Massachusetts from LMG Life Sciences, a legal directory focused on the life sciences industry.
The awards were announced on September 23, 2021 in New York City. Now in its ninth year, LMG Life Sciences recognizes lawyers and firms for their work in life sciences in four specific areas: regulatory, financial and corporate, intellectual property, and litigation.
Remillard also was chosen as one of the Massachusetts Go To Intellectual Property Attorneys by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, which featured honorees in a special section in September. This award recognizes top intellectual property lawyers across the state, who hold a longstanding record of success, according to the publication.
An accomplished patent attorney with 30 years of experience, Remillard leads Nelson Mullins’ Life Sciences Intellectual Property team. Her law practice focuses on patent portfolio development and strategy to support commercialization of products in a wide variety of biotechnologies, particularly immunotherapies, through all phases of development.
