Attorneys Represent EnergyLink International in Acquisition of UECompression, Inc.

A Nelson Mullins deal team led by Denver Of Counsel Rachel Sternlieb, represented EnergyLink International and its subsidiary, EnergyLink US, Inc., in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of the Colorado-based UECompression, Inc. (FormerXBC USA Systems, LLC) from its Canadian parent company’s bankruptcy. EnergyLink International is a global provider in air and noise emissions mitigation, turnkey buildings, gas turbine auxiliary systems, and retrofit solutions. EnergyLink International’s acquisition of UECompression supports both companies’ long-term growth and future plans.

UECompression is the nation’s premier engineered-to-order compression equipment packager and distributor for power generation, biogas, renewable natural gas, hydrogen, CO2, oil and gas, industrial and process applications in the U.S. As noted in the company’s April 4, 2023, press release, EnergyLink’s acquisition of UECompression will accelerate its “strategic direction of diversification into more decarbonization technologies while continuing to develop superior value-added products that assist in delivering responsible energy solutions and energy transition options to significantly lower emissions.”

The Nelson Mullins deal team successfully negotiated the asset purchase agreement and worked collaboratively with Canadian counsel both in structuring the deal and obtaining approval from both the Canadian and United States Bankruptcy Courts. The firm’s deal team included Rachel Sternlieb, Lee Hart, Christopher Eby and Margaret Esler.
