Atlanta partner Billy Ching, who chairs the Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice Group at Nelson Mullins, has received a 2021 MCCA Rainmakers Award, which annually honors diverse attorneys across the nation for achieving success in their practice through business generation, innovation and excellence. Honorees embody a wide representation, including race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, attorneys with disabilities, geographic location, and practice area, according to the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, which selects the recipients.

Ching was one of 15 attorneys to receive the Rainmakers Award for having a proven record over decades and making significant contributions to the community. As a corporate attorney, his practice primarily focuses on middle-market buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
