Atlanta senior associate Amy Cheng has been selected as an "On the Rise" honoree for the 2022 Georgia Legal Awards, presented by the Daily Report. The honor will be recognized at a gala on June 23 at Flourish Atlanta.
The Daily Report's On The Rise program recognizes Georgia's most promising lawyers under the age of 40. Honorees were selected by a panel of experienced attorneys based on their leadership qualities, practice experience, aptitude for innovation, and commitment to their communities.
Cheng focuses her practice in the areas of labor and employment, business litigation, and white collar defense and government investigations. She has represented clients in a range of matters and industries, from employment lawsuits to healthcare investigations.
Earlier this month, Cheng was elected to serve as the Atlanta Bar Association's vice president/president-elect for the 2022–2023 year. She is also involved in other professional and community organizations, including Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, the Korean American Bar Association of Georgia, Georgia Pacific Asian Bar Association, and the Georgia State Bar.
