Atlanta partner, Amanda Witt, has been named Chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. 

Ms. Witt has been an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and has served as Secretary of the International Law Section for many years. In her new role as Chair, she will help guide the Section’s ongoing efforts to advance knowledge and understanding of international law and cross-border legal practice. Along with other members of the Board including Vice Chair Trish Marcucci of AT&T, she is planning to offer a number of educational opportunities for Section members and hopes to further grow membership in the Section.

The International Law Section provides a forum for practitioners to exchange ideas and experiences related to representing domestic and foreign clients in matters involving multiple national jurisdictions. The Section also supports members through an annual continuing legal education seminar, luncheon study groups, and presentations by leading practitioners and subject-matter experts.
