Nelson Mullins attorneys acted as U.S. counsels and closed a cross-border Series Seed financing round for Exato Holdings Limited, a quick, affordable, and thorough background check platform that can be used by corporations, startups, and entrepreneurs. The transaction value was worth BRL 17,000,000.00. The Nelson Mullins attorneys who assisted the company were partner Leandro Molina and associate Rebecca Lester.

Exato Digital had previously raised a pre-seed round from Niu Ventures, and Nelson Mullins has worked with the company since its inception and set-up of its U.S. and offshore structures.

Inovabra, Banco Bradesco’s investment fund, led the financing round. Opposing counsel were teams from Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and Machado Meyer and co-counsel was a team from Pinheiro Neto Advogados.
