Partners Noah Huffstetler (Raleigh) and Gray Wilson (Winston-Salem) have been named North Carolina Lawyers Weekly's Leaders in the Law Class of 2020. NC Lawyers Weekly Leaders in the Law honors legal professionals licensed and practicing law in the state of North Carolina, who have gone above and beyond in their profession and their community. These honorees represent the most influential individuals within the state’s legal community.
Huffstetler practices in the areas of healthcare law, administrative law, and business and appellate litigation. He is a lecturer in healthcare law, having participated in programs sponsored by the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Hospital Association, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Duke University Graduate Program in Healthcare Administration. Huffstetler has served on boards for several nonprofits in the Raleigh area including the Triangle Heart Ball, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and the UNC Educational Foundation.
Wilson practices with the litigation group as a trial lawyer with decades of experience in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including professional liability disputes in the healthcare industry. He has tried approximately 300 cases over the course of his career. Wilson has served as president of the North Carolina State Bar (2018-2019) and North Carolina Bar Association (2004-2005), among other leadership roles.
