West Virginia State Bar
Huntington partner Randy Saunders was recently recognized by the West Virginia State Bar for its More Than a Lawyer campaign, highlighting all the ways the state's attorneys impact lives within and outside of their profession. Saunders was featured for his work to revitalize West Virginia through redevelopment and rehabilitation efforts.
Saunders has served as vice president of Cornerstone Community Development Corporation (CCDC) since 2017. In this role, he has helped lead an effort to rejuvenate areas of Huntington, with the goal of improving the quality of life for the city's most vulnerable populations. "Nobody else is going to care about West Virginia or Huntington more than we do. So, we had to band together and find our own solutions to our own problems," he said, in discussing some of his projects with CCDC. Saunders was nominated for this feature by Shaina Massie.
