After being named one of Atlanta's Most Admired CEOs, Michael Hollingsworth was interviewed by the Atlanta Business Chronicle on his leadership insights and inspirations. Hollingsworth is managing partner of the Firm's largest office in Atlanta.

Hollingsworth says exemplifying the performance you seek from your employees is the key to trusted leadership. "Lead by example, make no excuses, and ensure that your stakeholders know that you have their best interests in mind." Since he joined in 2006, Nelson Mullins' Atlanta office has grown from 83 attorneys to 160 attorneys.

With growth comes the responsibility to deliver top-notch service to clients, explains Hollingsworth. "We are always trying to become more efficient for the benefit of our clients. Legal departments at companies are under a lot of pressure to reduce costs," he said. "We are leveraging technology to reduce some of the lower level work so that we can focus on the premium work."
