Imperato Family Establishes Fund for Excellence Benefiting DePaul Health Law Program

Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel partner Gabe Imperato and his wife Cynthia have donated $100,000 to DePaul College of Law. The donation established the Gabriel and Cynthia Imperato Fund for Excellence benefitting the DePaul Health Law Program.

“I started my more than 40-year legal career as a health lawyer when I was still a law student at DePaul’s College of Law,” Imperato told DePaul in an article released on June 21. He spent a total of six years in Chicago and now works out of the Firm’s Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office, where he has lived the last 31 years.

Imperato’s personal practice includes representing individuals and organizations accused of healthcare fraud and assisting and advising healthcare organizations on corporate governance and compliance matters.
