David Itskovich Assists Landlord for AerCap Lease, CI Financial Additional Space at 830 Brickell

Boca Raton attorney David Itskovich recently provided legal counsel to the landlord in two leases in the 55-story Class A building at 830 Brickell under construction:

AerCap, which bills itself as the world’s largest aircraft leasing company, plans to open its U.S. headquarters in the building and will lease the 50th floor for 20,000 square feet for 50 employees.

CI Financial Corp. has signed a second lease for an additional floor, doubling the size of the Canadian asset and wealth management firm’s planned U.S. headquarters at Brickell. Last year, CI Financial announced plans to open a South Florida office that would house its national operations and oversee its U.S. platform, CI Private Wealth. The location will also act as the primary hub for the firm’s leadership team, who will divide their time between Miami and Toronto.

830 Brickell has also attracted private equity firm Thoma Bravo and Microsoft, which intends to base its Latin American regional headquarters there. The office tower is due to be completed later this year. Itskovich serves as primary leasing counsel for the landlord, a joint venture between OKO Group and Cain International.
