Charleston Organization Provides Affordable Housing, Preserves History with New House

The Charleston Redevelopment Corporation (CRC) and Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for another affordable housing development in Charleston facilitated by the CRC. The CRC is a nonprofit formed by the City of Charleston, Historic Charleston Foundation, and the Charleston Housing Authority. The CRC focuses on the development and maintenance of affordable housing in the Charleston area.

Nelson Mullins attorneys contribute both time and pro bono legal services for the CRC. Charleston partner Eli Poliakoff currently serves as chair of the CRC Board. Charleston partner Jay Claypoole has provided real estate pro bono services for the CRC’s activities.
