5th Circ. Nixed Telecom Fund Protest, But Will Others Agree?

Nelson Mullins partner John Heitmann spoke with Law 360 to discuss the Fifth Circuit upholding the Universal Service Fund for telecom subsidies.
According to Law 360, Heitmann said he was not surprised by the Fifth Circuit ruling, given the well-established case law on delegation principles. "I don't think the court thought it was a close call," said Heitmann.
John is a leading advocate for mobile wireless service providers participating in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) administered Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Programs.
