Whistleblower Law Symposium - "Practical Lessons from the Trials of Whistleblower Cases”

Hosted by: Atlanta Bar Association

Charleston partner Bart Daniel will present at the Atlanta Bar Association’s 2024 Whistleblower Law Symposium on March 13 at the Georgia State University College of Law. The symposium will offer seven and a half hours of continuing legal education (CLE) credit and will be available in person.

The presentation, “Practical Lessons from the Trials of Whistleblower Cases,” will feature Daniel along with his co-presenters, James J. Breen, the president of the Breen Law Firm, and Daniel R. Miller, a partner with Walden Macht & Haran LLP. Moderating the discussion will be Jennifer Verkamp, a partner with Morgan Verkamp. This panel will offer the unique perspective from some of the handful of lawyers who have tried a whistleblower case.

Daniel is a first-chair veteran trial lawyer and a past president of the National Association of Former United States Attorneys. He focuses his practice at Nelson Mullins on both the False Claims Act and white-collar litigation, along with government and internal investigations.
