Greenville Partner Jay Rogers presented on “Using Foreign Trade Zones to Navigate the New, High-Tariff Era,” to the South Carolina Department of Commerce on June 27, 2018. The presentation provides insights to the progression and current status of the Bretton Woods system and globalization and continues to elaborate upon the relationship between Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) and globalization. Rogers provides a variety of corporate counsel services to clients, advising to economic development incentives, corporate structure, cross-border business and legal strategy, mergers and acquisitions, consumer finance (including CFPB and state consumer finance law) and vendor/customer contracting.
