Urban Land Institute Coastal Forum

Charleston partner Jack Smith will moderate two panels at the upcoming Urban Land Institute conference in Dallas Oct. 25. Smith will moderate the Introduction and Climate Science portion plus a panel on Finance and Insurance, Real Estate Impacts.

The ULI Coastal Forum brings leaders in coastal resilience together to collect and share best practices and discuss emerging market trends in coastal real estate development and community resilience, focusing on strategies to protect and strengthen communities at risk due to sea level rise, storms, and other climate hazards. Smith, who practices in environmental law and litigation, administrative law, land use law, and constitutional law. serves as national chairperson of the forum.
