Atlanta partner Greg Taube will present “Title Insurance: Maximizing Protections and Insuring Over Defects” during the National Business Institute’s Top Tools for Curing Title Defects Dec. 17 at Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta. Taube will discuss working with insurers to figure out insurable cures, dealing with exceptions and using endorsements, negotiating with title insurance companies, affirmative coverage, getting underwriters to "insure over" defects, making a title claim, and abstracts and legal opinions as alternatives to title insurance

Taube practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and business litigation. He primarily advocates for creditors and landlords in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy courts in Georgia and Alabama. He also regularly represents litigants in consumer finance litigation, contract and real estate disputes, franchise and distribution disputes, business torts, and other business litigation.
