Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP partner Tim Wagner recently participated in a webinar titled "Tax Implications of Cryptocurrency Mining: IRS Guidance, Entity Structures, Tax Traps, Identifying Taxable Events," hosted by Strafford Webinars. The webinar took place on April 13, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. 

The webinar covered a range of cryptocurrency mining topics including the income tax reporting requirements for cryptocurrency mining, exchanges, and valuations, the major tax pitfalls to avoid and other challenges for cryptocurrency mining and investments, and the best practices in managing an IRS examination.
