Columbia partner Weston Adams will give the keynote comments at the 2021 SC Clean Energy Conference, covering emerging market opportunities from offshore wind energy and a new statewide leadership program devoted specifically to sustainability. Adams will also moderate "South Carolina's Electricity Market" panel, which will cover federal regulatory activity as well as South Carolina legislative activity that could reshape the state's electricity market.
Consensus-driven, state-level actions, regulatory changes, and evolving technology have made clean energy development thrive in South Carolina for almost a decade. E4 Carolinas' South Carolina Clean Energy Conference provides a forum to understand these changes and imagine possibilities for the future, discussing the latest policy activities at the state, regional, federal, and global level for the clean energy industry and how they influence decarbonization across the Palmetto State.
Adams is co-chair of the Energy Industry Group at Nelson Mullins and for E4 Carolinas' S.C. Clean Energy Industry Task Force. He also serves on the Board of Directors for E4 Carolinas.
