Nelson Mullins partner Matt Abee will be speaking at the South Carolina Bar’s Masters-In-Equity Bench on October 13, at the South Carolina Bar Conference Center.
Matt will be speaking on a panel titled “Tax Sale Litigation” along with Sean M. Foerster, Rogers Townsend, LLC and Jeffrey M. Anderson, Davis Frawley, LLC. The panel will cover the South Carolina Alternate Procedure for Collection of Property Taxes, examples of defects in tax sales, fallout from the invalidation of Act 174, and more.
Matt is a litigator with the Firm’s Commercial, Appellate, Consumer, and Employment litigation team. He handles complex business disputes, defends employers in class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage payment laws, and also practices with the consumer financial services and tax lien litigation groups.
