SC Bar 2019 Tort Law Update: Civil Liability for Automated Vehicle Crashes
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Greenville associate Jeffrey K. Gurney presented "Civil Liability for Automated Vehicle Crashes" at the South Carolina Bar's 2019 Tort Law Update, an all-day CLE event planned by partner Scott Moïse of the Firm's Charleston office and John Nichols from the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
The presentation, geared toward attorneys who practice personal injury, tort, and insurance law, also featured sections on dental malpractice claims, 19th century lessons in civility, a legislative update, and more. Besides his practice with tax and motor vehicle manufacturers and distributors, Gurney practices in the areas of corporate and securities, estate planning, and mergers and acquisitions.
