West Virginia attorneys Randy Saunders and Ashley Barebo will present “Hot Topics: Debt Collection Edition” during the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia’s Creditor's Rights Committee meeting July 9 at noon at Nelson Mullins’ West Virginia office. The two will discuss Pantoja v. Portfolio Recovery Associates, 852 F.3d 679 (7th Cir. 2017); the Assurance of Discontinuance recently entered between the WV AG and First Sentinel Bank of Richlands, VA; issues arising under WV Code §46A-5-108; and other related topics. 

Saunders chairs Nelson Mullins’ Tax Lien Resolution & Litigation group and focuses his practice on banking and financial services litigation, class actions, regulatory compliance, real and personal property tax appeals, and real estate. Barebo focuses her practice on commercial litigation and consumer financial services litigation.
