Roman Petra Participates in Opportunity Zones Panel at Texas Affordable Housing Conference
Roman Petra recently served as a panelist at the 2018 Texas Housing Conference hosted by the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers.
Petra’s panel, titled “Opportunity Zones: Tapping into Trillions of Dollars,” explored new investment opportunities recently created by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. Topics ranged from the creation of Opportunity Zones, investment and tax benefits to investing in an Opportunity Fund/Zone as well as related issues such as accounting and legal implications.
Petra was joined by other accounting, legal and investments representatives at the forefront of Opportunity Zones/Funds.
