Nelson Mullins partner Richard Levin will be speaking on a panel at Hong Kong FinTech Week on Nov. 2, 2023, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong Island. Levin will be speaking on a panel titled "Risks and Opportunities of Emerging Products: Crypto Derivatives" along with Eric Anziani, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Crypto.com, Melvin Deng, the CEO of QCP Capital, and Timothy Loh, the Founder and Managing Partner of Timothy Loh, LLP. Hong Kong FinTech Week is led by the Hong Kong Financial Services and Treasury Bureau and Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK). It is co-organised by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), and the Hong Kong Insurance Authority. Hong Kong FinTech Week is expected to feature over 500 distinguished speakers and to attract over 30,000 visitors and over 5 million online participants.
Levin is chair of the FinTech and Regulation Practice and was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a thought leader in the FinTech space. Levin brings his experience as a senior legal and compliance officer on Wall Street and in London to bear in advising clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
