Partner Mike Bittman to Present on Trends in Hospital Fraud and Abuse
Orlando partner Michael J. Bittman will present "Emerging Trends and Issues in Hospital Fraud and Abuse" Sept. 12 in Cary, N.C. at the annual Government Payors Summit hosted by the N.C. Healthcare Association and the N.C. Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Mike is certified by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education as a specialist in Health Law. He has been lead trial counsel in a number of significant Medicare and Medicaid fraud and reimbursement cases.
In addition to his litigation experience, Mike has served as outside general counsel for hospitals and other healthcare entities and represents parties in healthcare transactions. He is well versed in federal and state fraud and abuse laws and provides advice to clients regarding compliance and risk reduction.
