Health information technology, including blockchain, cloud computing, and the health information technology regulatory framework and future, will be discussed during an April 25 webinar conducted by Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough attorneys Roy Wyman and Daniel Lumm along with Corey Todaro, chief operating officer of Hashed Health. The webinar begins at noon.
Mr. Wyman, a partner in the Nashville office, will discuss the regulatory frameworks and the future of health IT, how to avoid legal issues, and prospects for additional regulation of health data. Mr. Todaro, based in Nashville, will speak on blockchain and health-related use cases. Mr. Lumm, an associate in Greenville, S.C., will present on cloud computing—trends and contractual issues.
