Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough will host an event on its Atlanta office rooftop patio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10, celebrating 40 years of work to end domestic violence.
The occasion is a 40th birthday party for the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV). Labor and employment and white-collar defense litigator Amy Cheng of Nelson Mullins serves on the nonprofit’s board and is helping to organize the event.
For the past 40 years, GCADV has been the statewide voice advocating an end to domestic violence in Georgia. Representing domestic violence agencies, advocates, allied individuals, and survivors throughout the state, GCADV works to expand services, increase public awareness, and change public policy. GCADV also provides training and best practices guidance to front-line victim service organizations throughout the state.
