Nelson Mullins Supports Kids in Need of Defense
Boston partner Matthew Lindenbaum recently attended the 10-year celebration of KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) in New York City. About 400 people attended, with actress Angelina Jolie appearing via recorded video. Nelson Mullins was a sponsor of the event. Lindenbaum coordinates and mentors associates on KIND cases in Boston. The organization helps undocumented children escape violence, threatened violence, abandonment, and to secure status in the United States. Lindenbaum is pictured with Laurie Carafone, co-director of legal services for KIND, left, and Jessica Mols, KIND pro bono coordinating attorney.
