The Charlotte, N.C. Chapter of Women in eDiscovery met on April 24 at Nelson Mullins’ office in One Wells Fargo Center. Invited by Discovery Operations Manager Trena Patton, Attorney Daniel C. Lumm presented on blockchain and cryptocurrency.
Lumm practices in the areas of corporate law, contracts, technology law, internet, and privacy law. Patton is part of the Nelson Mullins Encompass Practice Group. Several Encompass team members who are based in Charlotte attended.
Women in eDiscovery is an organization that provides educational opportunities regarding technology in the legal industry. The organization offers networking and leadership opportunities, promotes personal and professional growth of women, and donates mentoring and charitable contributions to its communities. Since its inception in 2007, Women in eDiscovery has grown globally with thousands of members and 28 chapters. This year’s WIE charity is Dress for Success Charlotte.
