Nelson Mullins’ Brandee Kowalzyk to Present on Proportionality Under Revised Rules
Brandee J. Kowalzyk, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Atlanta office, will present “Drug and Medical Device: Defending the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry” during DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar’s seminar on May 11, 2017 in New Orleans. Along with the Honorable Loretta A. Preska, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, Ms. Kowalzyk will discuss “Proportionality Under the Federal Rules: A Strategic Approach.” The discussion will cover proportionality under revised federal rules, the application of the rules, and strategic methods to explore and develop case law on proportionality.
