Columbia partner Mason Hogue and Greenville associate Daniel Lumm will present at the Cloud for Utilities' 2018 Cloud Summit in Washington D.C. on Nov. 15.
Hogue's session, "Legal protections for Cybersecurity technology contracts," will address how technology contracts can be used to protect companies from Cybersecurity threats. He is co-head of the Firm's technology and procurement industry group and practices cloud computing, licensing, and transactions, economic development, as well as other related areas.
Lumm will also discuss technology contracts in his presentation, "Outsourcing to Cloud, a discussion of Cloud specific legal challenges," covering key points such as terms and conditions, liability limitations, data ownership, service levels, and transition services. Lumm's practice is focused in corporate law, contracts, technology law, and Internet and privacy law.
