• Storytelling is the most valuable skill set for a trial lawyer
• Our brains are hard-wired to hear and process stories, so telling stories at trial is the most persuasive way to communicate your theme to the jury
• The focus should be on providing the jury with a reason to care about your case as much as they care about the plaintiff
• Try to have a story for each important part of your case, coupled with visuals to make the story more compelling
• It’s not so much what you say, but what people hear that matters
